Donkeys and Skinny Legs

Today was busy.  Started with the 35 minute (8 miles) trip into Cruz Bay.   Filled our rental jeep up (only one gas station on the island!), then found a few souvies to bring home.  Headed back on Northshore road to visit Peace Hill overlooking Cruz Bay, then onto Skinny Legs lounge on Coral Bay.  Met two gals who had graduated from Fairfield University and found yet another ballcap.  Made a second trip to Salt Pond Bay and it was well worth it.  Jim made a longer snorkel trek out into the bay and came across a large manta and about a 2-foot long sea turtle, along with numerous beautiful purple & yellow fish, best snorkeling we've had so far.  Finished the day up on a bluff at a local eatery called Concordia, a very ecclectic island establishment.  Picked up a few things at the Coral Bay store and it was back to the cottage for the evening.  One more full-day on the island, its been a good adventure.  Good evening!
